How much does a session cost?

There are many factors that determine the  financial investment for your session -- time, add-ons, and session type are major factors. See my pricing guide and please reach out with any questions.

What's included in every session? 

Where are you based, and do you travel? 

I'm based out of Houston, Texas, but will travel. To offset transportation costs, travel fees may be added to your invoice depending on the distance traveled. An estimate will be provided to you during the booking process. 

I don't have a studio; I prefer to shoot on-location. I will send you a questionnaire at the time of booking to help me get an idea for your style and the your needs for the session, and then we'll go from there!

What does the booking process look like? 

After you submit your booking inquiry, I will send you a confirmation email with the FAQ and investment guide, along with a questionnaire to get a better feel for you and your ideas for the session. Once I receive your information, I will send you an estimate of price and suggestions for locations and add-ons. If everything looks good to you, I will send you a contract. Along with your signed contract, I will ask for a 50% deposit toward your session. Without a deposit, I cannot put you on my calendar. 

With all the paperwork squared away, we can get to the fun part and discuss the finer details of the session! I love infusing creative ideas into my work, and I hope to collaborate with you to make your session as unique as you are!

What can I expect in the days prior to the session?

I will send you reminder emails three days prior and one day prior to the shoot. These notes will include info confirming the time, exact meeting location, contact information, and your remaining balance. Please note that remaining balances must be paid at the session or you will not receive your photos.

What can I expect the day of the session? 

I will be there early to get some test shots and check my settings in our meeting location. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early as well to give us time to go over any questions. My priority is helping you feel comfortable — most people don't have to pose in front of a camera very often! — so I will be talking to you throughout the session and suggesting poses. 

If you still have concerns prior to the shoot, don't hesitate to shoot me an email.

What if I want more time once the session has begun?

If my schedule allows it, that will be fine! However, additional fees will be added for the extra time.

What should I wear? 

I would encourage you to dress in a way that makes you feel good about yourself and comfortable in the environment for the shoot. If we will be outside on a warm day, for instance, you may want to wear lightweight clothing and walkable shoes. It's ultimately up to you! 

If you purchase a package with an hour of time, you can choose to have one outfit change.

Can I bring props? 

Yes! I would encourage you to bring props that are relevant to the theme and style of your session. However, be aware of how much you are able to carry, the distance you may need to walk, and the weather when deciding on props. I will be asking you about props ahead of time, and we can collaborate on this aspect if you want to bounce ideas around.

What if it rains? 

If a change of venue is possible, we can still have our session as planned! You can also choose to reschedule or cancel. However, please note that deposits are nonrefundable in the event of cancelation. Additionally, there is a $100 fee for no-show appointments and canceling or rescheduling within three hours of the shooting time. 

What if I'm running late?

Please let me know as soon as possible and keep me updated if you're running late. It happens! You can also choose to reschedule at no cost or cancel. However, please note that deposits are nonrefundable in the event of cancelation. Additionally, there is a $100 fee for no-show appointments and canceling or rescheduling within three hours of the shooting time. 

When can I expect my photos? 

My typical turnaround time is three weeks; the editing process takes time and I want to give you my best work.

Can I purchase add-ons after receiving my photos? 

Of course! The options and prices are included in my investment brochure.

Do you charge tax for your services?

Yes. Your invoice will be itemized to reflect the taxes and fees associated with the services rendered.
